Words of Thanks
Hi Nicole,
I hope you are well, I really want to thank you for the beautiful flowers you put together for my wedding on the 30th May 2008. The bouquets were all stunning and I am so glad that you suggested I went for a longer bouquet; it was gorgeous and looks so lovely in all of the photos.
We asked the photographer to take us downstairs to see the wedding breakfast room before any of the guests went down and as soon as we walked through the door it took our breath away, you had made the whole room so gorgeous, the burnt orange really did work!
Thanks again Nicole not only for arranging such lovely flowers but also for being almost as excited as I was for our big day, you really did add to the magic of the whole event!

I look back at our first meeting … you were the first florist I met. I discussed in a crazy, haphazard manner what I wanted for my wedding. You took it all in your stride – the end result was fabulous! Throughout our year and a bit together you have been truly amazing. From sorting out a bag for my flower girl to gently persuading me that fresh flowers could not survive without water!
I don’t think I could have survived the whole process of planning a wedding without your confidence and vision. As for the flowers on the day, the great drawing room was beautiful but the long barn was breathtaking! Thank you so much – you really made our day very special.

I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for all the hard work you put into making the flowers for my wedding so beautiful and individual. They really were spectacular, the colours were perfect, simple yet warm and stylish. I was so pleased with the bouquets and headdresses when you delivered them I kept looking at them every five minutes when I supposed to be getting dressed!!
Please thank your little Dutch man very much for the peonies which I adored, particularly as he had grown them especially!
Mum told me that you enjoyed doing the flowers (apart from Dusty the drunk and the toast making!) which really showed and the finished room really created a lovely atmosphere both to the eye and the nose! There were lots of complements flying about them.
We had the most fantastic wedding, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute, we just didn’t want to go at the end of the day, although we did go on to have the most amazing honeymoon in Western Canada where we visited Vancouver and the Rocky Mountains the both of which were absolutely spectacular. We then had a week off work to get back to some sense of normality and to start getting used to living together! The prospect of returning to work after such a fabulous break is rather depressing really, but I guest it had to happen sometime!
Anyway, many thanks to you both again, and I look forward to an opportunity when we can benefit from your talents again, hopefully in the near future.

Well the dust has finally settled and we’re having to take a grip on reality, so apologies for the delay in this letter. Thank you so much for the fabulous flowers! I don’t know where to start. The bouquets were fantastic, the colours all working perfectly with the dresses. I was completely bowled over by the flowers at the church, so many people commented on how beautiful they all were. I loved the arrangement over the fireplace at Ramster. The detail was amazing. I certainly got my wow factor. I am so grateful for all the marvellous work you did on the flowers for Lucy’s wedding last Saturday. They were exactly as I hoped, really exciting and very unusual. Everyone was quite knocked out by them, I wished that you had been there to hear all the compliments. I was puffed up with pride on your behalf – well done! As I hadn’t seen the church doorway arch until the service I went back again to admire it yesterday and it looked stunning, all the lilies had opened and it was really eye-catching – there were several people standing around making complimentary comments when I was there. I know that Lucy was also thrilled with all your arrangements, she said that they made her wedding seem different and that they were the scent of flowers she had envisaged. She was extremely calm and serene throughout the whole wedding and she and Nick radiated happiness so much that it was infectious! I am just about to make a banana ice cream with the flower arrangement fruit – double value!

A big thank you for doing such a fabulous job with our wedding flowers, they were just gorgeous! I loved my bouquet and it looks so pretty in all the photographs. The flowers at the barn were just how I imagined – very fustic and romantic. I have kept the little pink buds from my hair too. Borneo was brilliant too – it’s a great destination if you want more than beach. It was the mountain to climb, the jungle, the wildlife, the diving, the villages, the church. Very very hot. The food and drink was v.cheap in the local restaurants but Western prices in the resorts. And we did see a wild orang-utan too. Will try and bring you photos when next in Guildford.
