1st meeting with |
Ruby arrived at Wild Thyme by train from Waterloo and we sat downstairs to chat, drink tea and view portfolios. Ruby knew exactly what she wanted and came armed with pictures of random wild flowers in jam jars tied with gingham ribbons! |
2nd meeting |
At Ramsters, at our second meeting Ruby decided that having seen my photos she had decided against her original ideas and decided to give me a free reign within a set budget – we started again! Decided on flowers for the fireplace and as Ruby wanted an aisle to walk down, I suggested margerite tree linked with raw silk ivory ribbon |
On the day |
Bridal bouquet – simple tied posy of country flowers and herbs Guest tables – terracotta pots filled with peonys, delphs etc. Top table – long low and trailing forward Fireplace – huge display along top of b/t tall mantelshelf to create wow factor as guests enter banqueting hall Topiary trees in terracotta pots Strung with silk ribbons to create an aisle for bride to walk along Garland of flowers to link bride and grooms chairs 2 hours before the wedding met Ruby at Ramsters to present her with her wedding bouquet, as she was changing to her gown at Ramsters she had time to view all of the reception flowers before the guests arrived. |
