2nd meeting

At Farnham Castle where the banqueting hallis huge. Decided to use tall stems of pussy willow to give height and width to displays on fireplace and in window alcoves with lots of yellow roses and freesias at top table

On the day

Spent all of Friday night constructing displays in the ‘haunted’ banqueting hall – caretaker brought hot chocolate at midnight and gave us a tour of secret monks chapel!
Early am put flowers all ready prepared at WT into church and delivered flowers to brtide – long slim bouquet of lemon roses, yellow freesias and tiny pieces of hyacinths with tails of ivy and ginesta.
After service removed church flowers and positioned them in castle before quests arrived.
