1st meeting with Wild Thyme	Discussed brides dress and general requirements and theme of wedding – glamouress with a touch of something to remind groom of ‘home’ in South Africa. Decided upon Red Gerberas, Protea and large tropical leaves for the reception with ‘mango’ calla lilies, protea sparkey teardrop style bouquet and beargrass to enhance the glamour of gold silk bridal gown
2nd meeting	Afternoon tea at Dorchester hotel to view rooms to be used, making notes of colours, proportions and positioning
On the day	Placed 6 pedestal displays within Cathedral, Placed xxxx in marquee a long low trailing display of Calla Lillies, purple lysianthus and fruit on top table. 18 x terracotta pots filled with summer flowers, cherries and cumquats and guest tables. Constructed growing arrangement of fruit and flowers around cake table in centre of dance floor. Bribed my parents to sit and polish cherries and other fruit before use in displays! Delivered all the flowers to Dorchester at lunchtime, positioned table displays and pedestals, took flowers to bride residing in sumptuous penthouse suite recently vacated by Michael Jackson! Supplied bridal bouquet – mango calla lilies, proteas’ foliages and beargrass Buttonholes – mango calla lilies and beargrass for groom, red gerberas and beargrass for other gentlemen 15 x table arrangements – cherry red gerbera and beargrass, exotic foliages and calla lilllies Top table – cherry red gerberas, exotic foliages and calla lilies 7 pedestal displays – cherry red gerberas, exotic foliages and calla lillies
