1st meeting with
Wild Thyme

Previous September Lord and Lady Toulson are long sanding clients and so our first meeting to discuss Suzie’s wedding was very informal – viewed fabric, ivory silk for dress and bridesmaids and established that there would be English Country Garden, large ivory and white displays of flowers in the local village church and then pretty pastel pink, cream and lilac in the marquee.
Wedding bouquet – a classic slim lime bouquet of ivory Calla lilies, interspersed with glossy green foliage and strands of bear grass to give movement to the design

2nd meeting
November, met with Suzie, Lady Toulson and their gardener at family home to view plan of marquee which would be constructed to cover a huge area of garden on 2 levels incorporate steps and baulistrades which I will use as the focus for the flowers – filling the existing huge stone pedestals with peonys, delphiniums, roses and stocks – bringing the feel of the garden into the marquee.
On the day

Evening before the wedding put flowers in place, in church. 5am wedding day constructed arch at Church lych-gate. 6.30am having worked late into the evening, returned to the marquee to finish setting up flowers and deliver bouquets etc. 10.45 stopped for coffee and toast in bright sunshine and then using white ribbons, set out an ‘aisle’ between topiary trees for bride to approach the marquee.
